Attending school at Texas State University in San Marcos, Danaher has had the opportunity to open for great musicians like Ryan Turner, The Derailers, Micky and the Motorcars, Django Walker and Honeybrowne, as well as the chance to play at one of live music’s most renowned bars – Cheatham Street Warehouse. “Kent Finlay is a big factor in how far I have gotten so far,” he said. “If it weren’t for him I wouldn’t have a place to develop my songwriting and play it for everyone.” Danaher played his first show at Cheatham Street in front of hundreds of people, and his passion and enthusiasm ignited the audience. Since then, Danaher has continued to develop his skills as a musician and mature as a songwriter, and he hopes to put out his first record soon.
