Heads up—there’s a new Texas angel on the country music scene and she is ready to strike a chord on a grand scale. Born and raised in Baytown, Breelan Angel showed off a God-given natural talent at the early age of three when she began ballet, tap, and jazz. As she grew older, she took piano lessons for a time and also performed in choirs and theater productions crafting and developing her vocal talent, demeanor, and stage presence along the way. Offstage she was raised like a true Texan with a country upbringing that colors her music with emotion and liveliness to this day.
* With an early aspiration to become a lawyer, music and performance was set aside for the pursuit of higher education. However, fate intervened and it was during her time at Southern Methodist University that Breelan’s passion for performing was reignited.
* “I was asked, by an old friend, if I could do one thing for the rest of my life what would it be,” recalled Breelan. “It was then that I realized I missed performing, singing to a live audience mostly, and the rest is history.”
