Brenda’s country roots mixed with her love for old rock and red
dirt music makes for a unique show for any Texas music fan. All
audiences are guaranteed an energetic performance as she puts
her raw emotion and excitement into every song. Brenda Kay loves
to perform and is dedicated to putting on a great show every night,
whether she is playing in one of her mainstay venues in Abilene, or
visiting a town for the first time.
Growing up, anywhere there was a stage or a listening ear, Brenda
would sing her heart out. She was raised with music in the house
and in the car all the time and it’s left its mark on her. She started
singing competitively at the age of 10 and has never stopped.
Brenda released her debut album “Dirt’s Still Red” in April 2009 and
features all original songs. “Some days I just wake up with a song
in my head that needs to be written and it usually comes together
pretty quickly”, says BK. |
