Cross Atlantic
Cross Atlantic are country songstress, Karli Chayne from Bolivar, Missouri and English guitarist-songwriter-producer James Sinclair-Stott of Huddersfield, UK. After a chance meeting at Nashville coffee shop, Crema, during Jame’s four-month visit to the US in 2015, Karli and James discovered that their vocals blend delightfully. Mixing his eclectic tastes in classic English rock and film soundtracks with Karli's Ozark country roots, they stumbled upon an exciting sound that they had both been searching for in their own performing and songwriting.
The rising country duos music showcases their talent for storytelling as well as their musical chemistry. “Mercy," their debut single and video was released in 2017 and took them straight to the top of the CMT Music 12 Pack Countdown and several opening slots for Brandy Clark in the UK.
In 2019, Cross Atlantic released their debut EP, Beginnings and it has been well received on digital streaming platforms. The first single, “Slow,” a foot stomping, spirit raising track was featured on Spotify’s New Music Nashville playlist for four weeks. “Call It A Night” featured by Apple Music on their Country Wide playlist for six-months and is the opening track of the EP. An up-tempo, guitar driven anthem that is sure to strengthen the duo’s burgeoning reputation as country music’s answer to Fleetwood Mac.
