Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley Fidel learned to love the traditional Mexican songs his father sang. Eventually he turned his passion for his roots into his own blend of traditional country and contemporary style music. He began his career playing at weddings and weekend gigs with a local band, before going on to write music with some of Nashville’s most respected songwriters.
