Rising star Hudson Moore's career has already been a virtual whirlwind since it began in 2010. The 23-year-old Ft. Worth native and electric guitar gunslinger has headlined the world's largest honky-tonk, Billy Bob's Texas, and has performed for thousands of fans at both the famed Austin City Limits Music Festival and South By Southwest (SXSW), as well as playing the historic Gruene Hall.
Moore's debut radio single, "Fireworks," written and co-produced by Moore, climbed to #1 on the Texas Music chart and was included in the "New and Noteworthy" section on iTunes the day it was released. Moore plays multiple instruments and is known for his live shows which feature his blues-and-rock-infused electric guitar solos.
Moore was named “Who New to Watch in 2013” by CMA Close Up Magazine, and CMT named Moore one of the "Top 10 bands To Watch" at SXSW 2011.
Moore’s follow up single, "Doin’ Just Fine" was released to Texas radio early this year and his song, "Cold Light of Dawn" – sung and co-written by Moore – is featured in the film, Sweetwater, a western starring January Jones, Ed Harris and country music star Jason Aldean. The film made its debut at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
Moore has opened for legends ZZ Top, Alan Jackson, Rascal Flatts, Jerry Jeff Walker and Michael Martin Murphy, along with other acts such as Pat Green, Lee Brice, Chris Young, Robert Earl Keen, Bob Schneider, Cory Morrow, Josh Abbott, Kevin Fowler, Stoney LaRue, Casey Donahew Band, and Reckless Kelly.
