Jake Marlin and the Mercenaries

Jake Marlin started singing when he was just a kid, singing old country with his dad and uncles. Since then he has played shows from Tulsa to Afghanistan, and alot of places in between.

Jake sticks to his small town roots, writing music that connects with the people he knows with songs like "Broken White Line". Serving in the military has been a big part of Jake's life, and reflects heavily in his music with tunes like "Forever Yours". Jake's newest single "She Aint You" is already becoming a crowd favorite, and is the title track on his new EP out now. Jake puts alot of effort into every live show. He started out by watching people like Garth Brooks to develope his high energy show. Jake has also been influenced by the many talented acts around Tulsa, Ok like Thomas Martinez & the Wild Frontier, Outlaw Son, and Travis Kidd. Since coming to Texas, Jake ha met alot of very talented singer/songwriters including Wally West and Stephen Heape.
