The Jason Custer Band was formed in late 2016 when Jason and long-time friends Travis Hampton, Troy Barnes and Jake Milligan decided to put their love of music to work for them. It wasn't long until they were booking shows all over Texas and taking their "workin' class rock and roll" style on the road.
Jason, a singer/songwriter from Central Texas, recorded his first album in 2000 and played acoustic shows in the D/FW area before putting his music career on hold to serve in the Army. Prior to his hiatus though, he had the opportunity to share stages with some of his heroes and favorite bands. Some of those are Gary P. Nunn, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Kevin Fowler, Ronny Spears, Macon Greyson and many more.

Travis grew up on the Northeast coast of Florida. As one of the band's original members, he played bass guitar due to already having a lead guitar player in place. Once the current line up solidified he moved over to lead guitar where his bluegrass and blues influences are undeniable.
Troy is from Fayetteville, NC and brings a background of heavy metal to the band. His high-energy drumming style drives the band's "Working-class rock and roll" sound, putting a Southern Rock sound behind the country lyrics that they write.
Jake is from Abilene, TX and also comes from a heavy metal background that he blends with a country style that is like having a second lead instrument on the bass guitar.

While maintaining a busy road schedule, the band has been working on an album to promote on the road. After a few setbacks, the album hopes to be completed soon and their first single, "Hippie Girl" will hit radio stations in Spring 2019.
