Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition
RYAN FORET AND FORET TRADITION
The Foret family name is rich in musical tradition.

The brand of Foret Tradition was born in the Westbank community of Westwego, Louisiana in 1992.

In the beginning Ryan and Brandon Foret started playing as a two piece band in back yards, eventually growing to play music in Clubs and Dancehalls across the Westbank.

In 2005, Hurricane Katrina changed the landscape of the music scene in the Foret's back yard. Ryan's sharp business sense recognized that if the band was going to survive, he would need to seek out venues and begin traveling. In the years following Katrina, Ryan would emerge as the face of a new younger generation of Swamp Pop.

In 2007, younger brother Brandon would leave the band to follow his musical dreams. Although leaving the Band Brandon would continue to record with his brother. 2007 would also see the release of a new, now iconic album titled "Tee Nah Nah". The album would bring incredible success to Foret, and is still among the top sellers in the Foret Tradition catalog. Ryan continues to record music to this day, having recorded 10 Studio Records and 1 Live Album with a highly anticipated new studio release due out in 2021.

In January of 2019 Ryan's younger brother Brandon rejoined the band bringing his vast musicianship and ability to stun crowds with his showmanship.

Check out the band any where you can, but be prepared to dance. Ryan's brand of Swamp Pop is high energy and hard not to move to.
