a band created from the New Orleans, LA underground. The seedy and humid streets of the music city seep into the sounds of the band known as TORPEDO TEARDROPS. Although they have not followed suit with the musical quest of NOLA luminaries such as: The Neville Brothers , Dr. John or Galactic. The band has chosen to follow the path set forth by their influences such as FLEETWOOD MAC and ethereal rockmeisters (if you can categorize their sound?) COCTEAU TWINS with the Fuzz of THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN.
Lead singer Dalhia Teardrop has been a longtime fan of Siouxsie and the Banshees and and the vocal timidness of Kim Deal (The Pixies). Her along with guitarist and principle songwriter FUZZY TEARDROP have created their own personal plain of musical chaotical beauty!!
