This small town Oklahoma girl calls Texas her second home and was named the 2020 Ambassador for the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Prior to discovering her love for traditional country music, Bailey Rae developed a true passion for performing as a competitive clogger. She won several National Championships and competed at the World Dance Championship competition with her clogging team. Bailey Rae had been singing in church for years and after hearing of a vocal coach in Denison, Texas, she began performing with the Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group. At thirteen years old, Bailey Rae started the pursuit of country music as a career.

Since that time, Bailey Rae has performed at opry shows, events, festivals and acoustic gigs from Texas and Oklahoma to Graceland and Nashville. Her awards and noteworthy accomplishments include: 2019 winner of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Showcase in Carthage, Texas, 2019 Freedom Fest Idol Winner, 2019 Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association National Anthem Contest Winner, 2019 Top 8 Finalist for the Wrangler NFR National Anthem Contest, 2018 Traditional Country Horizon Award winner for the North American Country Music Association International, and 2018 Dogwood Jamboree Talent Search Winner. Bailey Rae has opened for country music artists, Doug Stone, Linda Davis, Jeannie C Riley, The Scott Family, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers and more.  She has also garnered multiple awards with the Country Music Singers Association of Oklahoma. Bailey Rae is a member of the Country Music Singers Association of Oklahoma and the Texas Country Music Association.

As an avid vinyl collector, Bailey Rae has over a hundred albums from artists such as Dolly Parton, Ernest Tubbs, Merle Haggard and Emmylou Harris. Those albums once belonging to her Great-Great Granny Grunt discovered at a yard sale by her grandmother years ago are, by far her favorites. Even though she and Granny Grunt never met, Bailey Rae feels connected to her through music.  And that’s the connection she hopes to pass on to her audience each time she performs on stage.

Bailey Rae is a guitar, ukulele, and vocal coach for beginners at Shawnda Rains Studios.  She is a veteran performer and mentor for StageStruck Performance Troupe.
