About this Event:

From the time she could talk, Katie could sing. Since the age of three, Katie sang not only melody lines but three and four-part harmonies. Katie began performing with her mom and sisters in church, touching people’s hearts and inviting them to the place where music takes us all – looking in the mirror to see who we are and realizing what we are meant for.

Current Texan, Rose Short, started singing when she was 5 years old in Germany, where her father was stationed with the military. Growing up, she often performed at community events on the base. Her family eventually moved to Texas where she became involved in choir and theater. She always loved music, but after school, she needed a job that paid the bills, so she took a position at a male maximum-security prison. Rose worked as a corrections officer for eight years, but ultimately quit to focus on music again. Rose is currently a full-time musician writing and performing her own music.

All street parking is free. There are two paid lots nearby. One in the alley behind the theatre and the other on the corner of Ellis and 24th.

Price: $19.25 - $38.50

Katie was classically trained in piano and voice, but it was her love for a combination of music and people that brought her to the place where she is musically, professionally and relationally. People and life experiences speak to her soul and that’s where her compositions come from - Love! With her soulful style, her jazzy flare, her broken and longing heart, she will captivate you!

Both were finalists on Season 17 of The Voice
