The trucks, busses, campers, and trailers will be rolling into West Texas Come April 29th – May 1st. The first annual Crude Fest, a branch of the Lonestar music Fest will be setting its sights on the West Texas Plains. Dubbed an Oil and Gas industry celebration for West Texans is sure to please all with over 20 hours of Live Texas Country Music, and a five part cash prize cook off over three days!
Cody Baker, the owner of Lonestar Music Productions, has promoted festivals across the state and assures that this is the best to come. He has worked with names such as Randy Rogers Band, Reckless Kelly, Stoney LaRue, Casey Donahew, Mark McKinney, Bart Crow, Rich O’toole, Josh Abbott, Bleu Edmondson and many more all boasting their fair share of number one hits. “This festival will feature the who’s who of Texas Country Music” states Baker. The Festivals Activities are scheduled to start on April 29th and extend through May 1st. There will be a 5 part team cook–off including brisket, ribs, chicken, beans, and competition margaritas, all to have cash prizes awarded. The concerts will begin Friday at 2p.m. Camping sites are available for all three nights. Two and single day passes will be sold for the following prices. Two day pass in advance will be $28 and day of show will be $38. Single day pass will be $25 in Advance and $35 day of show. “This is a show that will be a must see, Limited camping sites and team cook off spots are available, so get yours early!” Baker explains. The festival is expected to bring 10,000+ in attendance for both days from cities and states all over. The festival has 5 title sponsors attached which are Fab-Tech Drilling Services, Impulse Electric, Oil Works U.S.A, Tower Light Rentals, and Bridges Equipment. Baker assures that there is plenty of sponsorship opportunities available to everyone. The festival will also benefit Make-A-Wish foundation on a local level. Tickets, camping sites, and team cook-off spots will go on sale February 1st.
This 3 day festival is sure to bring great pride in what West Texans stand for. This will be a great addition to the oil and gas industry, and a wonderful time to get away from the daily grind.
