IBCA sanctioned BBQ cook-off
A one-year complimentary Ducks Unlimited membership comes with every Duck Jam ticket. Bring your ticket to Duck Jam to redeem for a member information form which you will complete for entry into the event. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit DU's conservation efforts.
The show will feature Willie Nelson and Family and .38 Special as well as others. Dock Dogs Big Air Series will return, hosting over 400 dogs in a simple and exciting competition - the dog with the longest leap off the end of the dock wins. The Lil' Quack Kids Area has expanded to include "Chrome's Duck Dos;" a rocker's haven for hair makeovers, Rich O'Toole's Music Shop; an interactive instrument tool shop, and more activities. The Brazos Valley Children's Museum will host hands-on craft, games and entertainment and Playhouse Disney's Choo-Choo Soul will headline the kid's stage.
Once again an IBCA sanctioned BBQ cook-off will host over 50 teams during the event. Other activities are in the works, but the newest feature for 2010 is the Wine and Art Grove. CSISD school children will display their creative duck art for judging. Winning kids will receive prizes and scholarships after the judging period.
