OK… Five friends with different styles of music that has come together to form one KICK ASS ROCKIN TEXAS COUNTRY BAND…Backseat Molly came together in November 2007 with a group of friends form Palestine TX… While hanging around the Texas Music scene Steven Callaway was determined to put a band together that would have the energy of a rock band but music that could still cater to country music fans… Since November 2007 BSM has shared the stage with Whiskey Myers / Rich O’Toole / Josh Abbott Band / Eli Young Band / No Justice / Charlie Shafter Band / Mo Robson / Honeybrowne / Charlie Robinson / Paula Nelson and many other talented artist….Since 2007 BSM has made some changes with band members in mid 2009 and has stepped up to the plate to play with to big boys of Texas Music like Brandon Rhyder / Pat Green / Granger Smith and also Chris Cagle whitch he is a Texas boy... Backseat Molly produces a sound that is a mixture of COUNTRY and ROCK playing originals and covers with a high energy live shows…On July 25, 2009 BSM completed there debut album “Texas Not Tennessee” that is to be officially released around the first of 2010 and is sure to good things on Texas radio
