Sweet Pain Rocks
We are a 4 member Rock group that thrive on playing music. Formed in 2006/2007 by the original founder Sonia Tiner, our band is constantly evolving to bring music to all genres of listeners. Derold Miller aka Big D is the rhythm section of this band. Derold starting playing drums very early in his life. He has played metal, rock, country etc. with several bands from Seattle to Tyler.1 band in particular which had radio airplay was "Naked Sky". He hits his drums with a fierceness that you have to see to believe. Richard Callahan: Lead guitarist, singer, songwriter. He's the mad scientist. A must see performer. Whether it's playing originals or covers, Richard is all over the stage keeping the audience engaged. He is a veteran guitarist, with a surprise at every show. He teaches guitar lessons, he creates his own music, he can lay his guitar on the ground and play. He is the full package of talent. Kindra Tiner aka KAT. With country roots and a long family history of musicians, Kindra lives for music. She started out on guitar at around age 10. She played in several bands with her brother on drums. After leaving country music, she decided to change gears. Switching to the bass guitar, Kindra brings the bass to life on stage. She rocks and she rolls. She gives 110% at every show. A female bassist in a rock n roll world. This girl can wow you. Finally, Sonia Tiner, the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and keyboard player. aka Krash. She took piano lessons at age 12. She was shown a few guitar chords by age 15. Too shy to sing in public until the age of 25. Look what she does now. While keeping the guitar on, she switches to piano, then back to guitar and sings. Never a voice lesson, no guitar degrees, just raw energy. Music is her outlet. And watch out for the vocal range, from Bang your Head to Barracuda, this girl isn't playing around. When you come hear Sweet Pain, you get a diverse group, all with different backgrounds, but together put the R in Rock! See Less
