Tristan Roberson, a rising country artist from Frisco, Texas has a profound love for country music. Influenced by country legends, from the traditional sounds of Hank Williams Jr, George Strait, and Keith Whitley to the contemporary flair of Tyler Childers and his greatest inspiration, Parker McCollum.

The Texas-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist began gaining notoriety online by covering songs from Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, and many more, which encouraged him to start writing his own original songs. Tristan wrote and composed his first original song “The Reaper Keeps Creepin” at age 15. The song questions whether prayers reach heaven as he grew up with divorced parents who didn’t get along and it made his life very difficult.

Tristan Roberson is a naturally gifted musician, spent his teenage years honing his craft. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, with the ability to play a number of instruments, read sheet music like an industry expert and has the ear of a music theory professional.  His music reflects the values and principles instilled in him by his family and community, and he believes that his talent is a blessing to be used to inspire and uplift others.

Tristan grew up singing, playing piano, guitar and drums. His parents were photographers. His brothers were athletes. Nobody else in the family wrote songs, but that didn’t stop Tristan from realizing his true potential. He began writing his first tunes as a teenager and inspiring himself with opportunities to build a career and pursue his dreams of becoming a professional country musician.
The 17-year-old is a member of the Texas Country Music Association. Tristan’s single “Girl A.D.D.’n” is featured on TCMA’s Best Texas Country Picks Volume 7 Compilation CD scheduled for release in early 2025.  “It’s a catchy, heartfelt country track that captures the highs and lows of infatuation, reflecting the thrill and frustration of longing to be with someone who constantly occupies your thoughts,” says Roberson.

Tristan recently won 1st Runner Up in the Texas State Songwriters Championship (Season 10) making him the youngest songwriter to make it to the finale.  He also took home Top Radio Pick of the Year for 2024. His latest song releases have amassed over 7.85 million streams, across all music platforms, since their release, making this his biggest breakout moment so far. Several of his songs have been supported by major editorial playlists including Spotify’s All New Country Music, Fresh Finds Country, Texas Country Now and Next From Nashville.

Tristan’s music has been played worldwide, in 180+ countries, and his songs were first played on the radio in 2024. “It’s a very surreal moment when you hear your song on the radio for the first time,” says Roberson. Tristan’s hit single “Somewhere In Texas” charted to number 1 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart and top 11 in the Nation on the MediaBase Indie Chart. Tristan has built a growing fanbase boasting over 249k followers across all social media channels.
