We are honored the artists are excited to help with this important cause and are bringing their heart to The People's Bank & Trust Stage.
BIG JOHN MURRAY
Family friend of theatre staff members and Personal Assistant and Security for several artists in music including Poison, Bret Michaels, Kid Rock, RATT and many others will be in attendance and will have several opportunities to discuss his life, rockstar years, personal struggles and how he changed for the better. John, a former Marine and heart transplant recipient, talks the talk because has walked the walk, and lived to tell about it. He will also speak about his time on the road as a personal security guard for some of rocks biggest names, as well as mental health and suicide awareness from his own life story.
THE FAIRCHILDS
Local favorites, The Fairchilds will kick off the evening concert, bringing their own style of harmonies to some of their original and classic songs. We are excited to have them take the stage again at the theatre.
JAELEN JOHNSTON
When I called, he answered with an astounding YES!
Kansas born and raised, Jaelen Johnston's music career began at age sixteen, after receiving a pretty little pawnshop Taylor guitar from his grandparents. Now, barely in his twenties, Jaelen Johnston has worked tirelessly to hone his craft, create a dedicated fan following, and make an impressive name for himself locally by playing to packed houses across the midwest. His undeniable vocal talent has caught the attention of many for its uniquely deep resonance, raw grit, country drawl, and bluesy smoothness. Although primarily influenced by a more red-dirt and old country sound, Jaelen prides himself on his ability to put his own spin on many different genres of music.
Jaelen has written and released a number of original songs in the last couple of years that are available on all streaming platforms, with more original music planned for this year.
Most recently, Jaelen has gained national exposure by completing the “open-call” audition process and appearing on Season 27 of NBC's The Voice, where he turned three chairs and finished as Runner Up.
KATIE ZIEGLER
“Katie Ziegler is a self-proclaimed independent singer/songwriter from rural Kansas. Involved in music her whole life (growing up with parents who were musicians themselves) she began writing songs at age 11 and picked up a guitar at age 16. After playing locally in talent shows and getting more accustomed to being on stage, she went on to do many live gigs including opening for CMT recording artists from Australia “The McClymonts” at just 17 years old. Flash forward to 10 years later, she has had the honor and privilege to finally record her songs with an Emmy winning producer/engineer out of Wellington Kansas, Carter Green. In August of 2022 her first single, “He Ain’t Yours” was released. Since then, she has released an EP titled “Residue”, and numerous more singles. At the end of 2023 she had the privilege of opening for the iconic duo “The Bellamy Brothers” and in 2024 “Eli Young Band”. Katie most recently auditioned and was accepted to attend Song House camp in Nashville this coming fall, with hopes of fulfilling her ultimate dream of being able to write songs for major label artists.”
JERROD NIEMANN
With hit songs like " Lover, Lover", "Drink To That All Night", "What Do You Want", "One More Drinkin' Song", and others, Jerrod was more than willing to come and help us with this important cause, and we could not be happier to have him here at The Kingman Historic Theatre. Jerrod's awards and notariety as an artist is known nationwide and he has headlined and toured with some of Country's hottest acts. Jerrod's bringing his entire band for this special night of music.
