In recent years the Dallas singer-songwriter has become a regular on Texas stages, touring with his fiery band. His recently released debut single ‚ÄúFriday Nights in Texas‚Äù spent nine weeks on the Texas Music chart. Whether he‚Äôs crooning an original song on his acoustic guitar or pounding a piano and belting out a raucous version of Jimi Hendrix‚Äô

Certainly an epic name for what has become an epic restaurant. Love & War in Texas is a restaurant developed by two Texans who believe the philosophy described by Mr. Steinbeck.

The concept was created to promote Texas, Texans, Texas food and Texas Heritage. You will not find any "smoked salmon" or "Alaskan snow crab" on our menu. Only fresh Texas Gulf seafood, Texas produce and Texas grown meats... all cooked into authentic Texas recipes. To compliment the cuisine, L&W has an extensive "all-Texas" wine list and an equally impressive collection of Texas Beers.

Live Texas music has become a tradition at L&W. Texas singers and songwriters from around the state are finding their way to what is quickly becoming a central gathering place for Texas music and Musicians.
