The Lowdown Drifters are a Country band from Stanwood, WA formed in 2015 from a shared love of songwriting with the goal of fostering and furthering the tradition of country music. The Drifters began building a fan base and core group of original songs leading up to the 2016 release of their album Wood & Water. In the past several years the Drifters have gone from writing and playing their original songs for friends to playing at venues such as the Tractor Tavern, Hard Rock Café, Little Red Hen, and Ponderosa Lounge as well as functions for local radio stations supporting the Seattle Seahawks and festivals including the Sp

Love and War in Texas

Certainly an epic name for what has become an epic restaurant. Love & War in Texas is a restaurant developed by two Texans who believe the philosophy described by Mr. Steinbeck.

The concept was created to promote Texas, Texans, Texas food and Texas Heritage. You will not find any "smoked salmon" or "Alaskan snow crab" on our menu. Only fresh Texas Gulf seafood, Texas produce and Texas grown meats... all cooked into authentic Texas recipes. To compliment the cuisine, L&W has an extensive "all-Texas" wine list and an equally impressive collection of Texas Beers.

Live Texas music has become a tradition at L&W. Texas singers and songwriters from around the state are finding their way to what is quickly becoming a central gathering place for Texas music and Musicians.
