Chuck Cannon is a multi-faceted artist, and award-winning songwriter whose songs have been covered by mega-stars ranging from pop artist Paul Carrack (Mike &The Mechanics) to folk rock’s Shawn Mullins, to country artists George Jones, Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and more.

Chuck was set on fire musically when he first heard “singing that lifted the rafters” in his dad’s Pentecostal church in South Carolina. He has long-sense made Music City home, where his hit songs have racked-up more than 25 million radio plays.

Chuck’s first No. 1 hit “I Love the Way You Love Me,” recorded by John Michael Montgomery, was named “Song of the Year” at the Academy of Country Music awards. Soon catapulted into the deep end as a Nashville songwriter, Chuck began writing almost exclusively for Toby Keith. The Keith hits include “Me Too,” “Dream Walkin,” “We Were in Love,” and the No. 1 hit “How Do You Like Me Now?,” which along with the John Michael Montgomery hit achieved the Eight Million-Air award from Broadcast Music, Inc. His song “If I Was Jesus” was nominated for Americana Song of The Year.
