Max Stalling
Max Stalling is a Texas country music singer/songwriter. Stalling was born in Uvalde, Texas and moved to Crystal City before attending kindergarten through high school in Carrizo Springs. He studied at Texas A&M University, where he earned a master's degree in Food Science. After college, Stalling entered the corporate world and eventually moved to Dallas, where he worked in product development for Frito-Lay. In Dallas, Stalling started writing songs, recording albums, and developing his musical style.

Certainly an epic name for what has become an epic restaurant. Love & War in Texas is a restaurant developed by two Texans who believe the philosophy described by Mr. Steinbeck.
The concept was created to promote Texas, Texans, Texas food and Texas Heritage. You will not find any "smoked salmon" or "Alaskan snow crab" on our menu. Only fresh Texas Gulf seafood, Texas produce and Texas grown meats... all cooked into authentic Texas recipes. To compliment the cuisine, L&W has an extensive "all-Texas" wine list and an equally impressive collection of Texas Beers.
Live Texas music has become a tradition at L&W. Texas singers and songwriters from around the state are finding their way to what is quickly becoming a central gathering place for Texas music and Musicians.
