Murphey Western Institute Perini Dinner 
Michael Martin Murphey will be presenting his vision for Murphey Western Institute.  

Join Michael, his wife, and members of the Murphey Western Institute as they come together to have one of the best meals in Abilene area prior the his performance at the historice Texas Cowboys Christmas Ball in Anson.  This evening will include a special conversation with Murph about the developments and mission of Murphey Western institute.  

Portion of the meal/special purchases are a tax deductible donation.  

THE TEXAS COWBOYS CHRISTMAS BALL is the evening of this dinner and it is 40 miles (50 mins) from Perini’s.  The Ball has been a Texas tradition since 1885.

Michael Martin Murphey (born March 14, 1945) is an American singer-songwriter best known for writing and performing Western music, country music and popular music. A multiple Grammy nominee, Murphey has six gold albums, including Cowboy Songs, the first album of cowboy music to achieve gold status since Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs by Marty Robbins in 1959. He has recorded the hit singles "Wildfire", "Carolina in the Pines", "What's Forever For", "A Long Line of Love", "What She Wants", "Don't Count the Rainy Days", and "Maybe This Time". Murphey is also the author of New Mexico's state ballad, "The Land of Enchantme
