About

TRAVIS ROBERTS Travis Roberts is an American country singer from Amarillo, Texas whose deeply introspective lyrics echo the dustbowl life of his predecessors. Travis began singing at a young age singing in the church choir before picking up the guitar in his early teens to accompany the hymns sang on Sunday mornings. The influences of his youth were as much honky tonk as heaven sent, pairing Steve Earle and Amazing Grace, Waylon and It is Well with My Souls to create his own brand of thoughtful songwriting. He first entered the music scene as an underage musician smuggled into a Knoxville bar to play Rambling Fever on the day Merle Haggard died creating a lifelong hunger to pursue his musical dreams. His 2020 debut single Cabin Fever chronicles the intrepid feat of overcoming addiction and fast led to him becoming a rising star in the Panhandle, creating an ever growing fan base with every song he plays. Roberts is currently in preproduction for his 2021 full length debut working with Timothy Allen and his newly assembled band of road tested Texas instrumentalists, the Willing Few, to bring his earnest anthems to every jukebox, speaker and venue near you.
