The Penick Hughes was established as a hardware store on January 2, 1900, the same day as the town of Stamford was established. Over a century later in 2021, the beautiful, abandoned building was bought and renovated into the show-stopping event venue it is today. 

Boasting a two level entertainment area, commercial kitchen and serving area, and full bridal and grooms suites, the Penick Hughes is the premier event venue in West Central Texas.
