Ashton Hill hails from deep East Texas and is comprised of seven members: Stephen Stroud (Lead Vocalist, Guitar, and key boards), Victoria Ford (vocals), Jarod Bentley (Lead Guitar), Jeremy Bittick (Bass), Adam Copelin (key Board, Guitar, Sax), Joey Haley (Drums) & Craig Lawson (fiddle & guitar). Stephen Stroud has been playing music since he was ten years old and has a passion for writing. Written originals include Life in a Song, Something Bad, and Wings of Gold. Victoria Ford is a young lady who has had the heart of a singer since she could talk. She has participated in the John Ritter Showcase two years and loves the experience of being on stage. Jarod Bentley is a guitar prodigy whose talents include a wide variety of music genre from Country to Rock. He lives guitar and bleeds music. Jeremy Bittick is a natural bass player who lives to entertain and lays the foundation to the band’s music. Joey Haley has played the drums since his parents caved and bought him a set when he was twelve. He brings an original beat to country music. Adam Copelin is muti-faceted musician that brings a dynamic element to the band.
The band came to life in 2010 with a shared vision of bringing life to their songs and entertaining audiences. It grew from there to playing on stages across East Texas at benefits, festival, and then area clubs. The group developed original songs which reflected their lives and their Deep East Texas roots. Now here they are today – the Ashton Hill Band.
