Broke 60 Band
Broke 60 was formed in 2006. The band called themselves Lost Cause for a short period before realizing the name was already taken. So after numerous ideas were tossed around trying to come up with a name to describe the overall group they finally decided on "Broke 60". In case you're wondering where they got the name from..its pretty simple. "Broke" is just bluntly how the guys described their financial status when they starting out with everything and "60" comes from highway "60" which was driven down to practice outside of College Station. The band has opened up for artists such as Aaron Watson, Todd Fritsch, Brandon Rhyder, No Justice, Josh Abbott, John Anderson, Cory Morrow, Casey Donahue, Reckless Kelly, Roger Creager and have also played venues along with Robert Earl Keen, Eli Young, Jason Boland, Ryan Turner etc. Jose is releasing his first cd this June (2012) and he and the band are booking to promote it. Broke 60 appreciates each and everyone who comes out to a show and takes their time and hard earned money to continue supporting them. Thanks for checkin out this site and keep posted.
