Brooks Atwood
Brooks first started performing in East Texas at a small opry show. He has played at The Silver Bullet in Columbia, Mississippi and The Grizzly Rose in Denver, Colorado. Brooks recalls his greatest opening act was for Marty Stuart. Performing country music was all he ever wanted to do. He recorded songs written by Kim Williams and co-wrote the song “This Hat Ain’t No Act”. After a management contract with Joe Mansfield failed, Brooks decided to head back to Texas. He had an album that sat on the shelf for 10 years. A Clear Channel station sales rep caught a copy of his cd and started playing it.
