Originally born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Nashville based pop artist and songwriter Clayton Jones has spent the last 12 years honing his craft and developing his signature voice; spending 2010-2016 as the lead singer of his former duo, The Madison Letter.
Collectively, Clayton has performed in over 30 states across the US as well as internationally in South Africa, Uganda, and Tanzania, having shared the stage and opened for artists such as The Script, Jon Bellion, Fifth Harmony, JoJo, Daya, and many more. With over 5 million Spotify streams of their original songs and covers, The Madison Letter also experienced international success through their top-line collaboration with Singapore based EDM duo, Rave Republic; their song “Shoot For The Moon” reaching #3 on the Singapore iTunes Charts.
After re-launching as a solo artist in early 2017, Clayton successfully raised a Kickstarter Campaign goal of $18,000 with the vision of recording and releasing 12 singles month by month over the next year. Inspired from the music, culture, and experiences of his three recent trips to Africa, it seemed fitting to debut his new music with “Safari”, a pop/world anthem he wrote after returning from across the pond for the second time. Africa has impacted his life so greatly that this December through February, Clayton is returning to Cape Town, South Africa for a 3 month trip to perform and write/produce alongside South African artists.
