Darc Thirty, named after their home town of Bois d' arc, Texas, was formed by singer/songwriters Brandon Costlow and Mandy Seale. The duo has pretty much been playing music together since they were able to walk and talk. Each playing with multiple bands over the years, it was very rare to find one somewhere without the other. After being out of the music scene for a while, in 2010 Costlow and Seale began to write a few songs just for the fun of it. After several writing sessions, they decided to call up some old friends from previous bands and put together what is now Darc Thirty. Just six months later, they began to record their debut album "Small Town Life."
The more you get to know these guys, the more you come to understand that they are not in it for the money, fame, or fortune. Instead, they are in it for the love of the music. Looking at the faces of lead vocalists Costlow and Seale during their performances, there's no question that every note they sing is coming from somewhere deep inside their souls. "My goal as a writer and performer is simple. Make the listener feel what I feel. Having said that, when I look out at the crowd and see some random individual belting out every lyric to one of my songs word for word, the satisfaction is indescribable." -Brandon Costlow
To sum it all up, these guys are raw and real. Their roots run deep and they are by no means afraid to let it show! They have an impeccable stage presence that is unforgettable and possess the ability to keep you out of your seat and out on the floor at every show - no matter how big or small!
