In the Fall of 2001, five seasoned professional local musicians got together with the idea that they would carry the legacy of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd and other Southern Rock greats. After 19 years and counting, they’ve become Upstate New York’s premier Southern Rock Band. They are the only local band to play Jam In The Valley 6 consecutive times, supporting such acts as Gary Allen, Big & Rich, Hank Williams Jr., Little Big Town, and Trace Atkins to name a few. They also consider rock and roll hall of fame member and original drummer of L.S. Artimus Pyle a friend and on many occasions has sat at the drum set of DiamondBack. Since 2010, DiamondBack has been Artimus’ band on his visits to WNY. What an honor to work with him! Diamondback is at home on any stage, big or small!
