Flatline Road
Flatline Road started out as an idea between 2 DFW musicians, Don Mills and Gary Dacus. Gary and Don had been on shows together over several months and had started to form a professional relationship. Over the phone and in text; during several month in late 2017; they discussed the idea of getting together to form a Country band. After making it through the holidays, they decided to give it a go.
Gary and Don started looking for additional players, and as luck would have it Gary had been talking with rock bass player Kelly Berger about being in a side project. After about a 10 min phone call Kelly was in! Gary had been playing with lead guitarist, Pete Franco, in another project at the time. Gary mentioned this country project to him and it peaked Pete’s interested, and he said,” lets jam!” After their first practice together, they knew they were on to something.
Flatline Road is made up of four rock musicians that decided to get back to their roots with the Country & Southern Rock that they all grew up listening to. Flatline is influenced by artist like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Outlaws, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Derks Bentley and Brantley Gilbert; to name a few.
So, come on and check out Flatline Road!!!
