The band High Horses came about in a very unique way. Back in 1989, Bill was playing CFD with Cheyenne Lights as their drummer, but the band dissolved at the end of July. Jerry McDonald (owner of the WigWam) asked Bill if he could put together a band to play CFD the following year. Bill decided a unique approach would be to get the best musicians from different bands and have them play specifically for CFD and special events only. So High Horses was born and has been going strong ever since!
