A Native of Kansas, Jared Daniels grew up in Caney, KS a blue collared, bible belt, middle of the heartland small town.
Daniels formed The Jared Daniels Band while attending Kansas State University. "We were a bunch of college kids who loved music and loved having fun".
Daniels moved to Nashville in August of 2011 chasing the dream that every player and singer does. "If I wasn't doing music, I would probably be teaching a middle school class right now. I always wanted to be a teacher and coach growing up, I went to college to do that. I sat down one day and told myself, I'm telling these kids to chase their dreams and if they work hard they can do anything, but I wasn't chasing my dream." That's when Daniels packed up and headed to Music City.
The first single to country radio "Foot on the Dashboard" written with fellow Kansan David Oakleaf hit number 85 on the Music Row Chart. Guitar players Kevin Henrichs and Devin Randel joined along for the ride throughout Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virgina, Wisconsin and Iowa on the radio tour. "Being on radio tour is fun, it's non stop and it has been great meeting new people" Daniels says. Being a native of Kansas and now making a living in Nashville in the music business, hardwork is no stranger. "In the industry you have to roll your sleeves up and go to work. It's really like anything else, what you put into it, is what your gonna take away from it."
What does the future hold for JDB? We're looking forward to adding many more tour dates in 2014 and possibly releasing a new album!
