Jarett McAlister
Jarett McAlister was born in East Texas on June 29, 1991. His original songs are already award-winners. He won the 2008 songwriting event at the Texas Woodstock Festival in Winnsboro. He was chosen for Best Original Performance at the CMA Music City Rising Star Event in June of 2008 after performing in downtown Nashville during the CMA Music Festival. In November of 2008 he performed at his largest venue to date at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on the final day of the Texas Stampede PRCA Rodeo. On March 14 & 15, 2009 Jarett's performance on the Gene Williams Country Television Show, taped in Branson, was broadcast to over 200 television markets and 100 million homes nationwide and in Canada and Puerto Rico. He plays lead guitar and has bass vocals. His song list includes over 200 top country hits and about 45 original pieces. He knows the Nashville Music Theory and writes his own music and lyrics. Jarett will graduate from Lindale High School in Spring 2009
