Texas singer songwriter Leland Williams hit the ground running. After moving to Nashville in February 2008, Leland played over 350 shows in a year and a half on the stages of the downtown Nashville Honky Tonks. After learning the ropes, Leland took some time off to explore the writing and recording aspects to the music business. Good friend and hit songwriter Keaton Allen invited Leland to move out to the farm and do a little soul searching, front porch pickin, and really learn how to write a song. “Moving out to the farm and writing with Keaton completely changed my career.” Leland’s first record “Fire” is set to be released in March 2010 and has several songs that Allen and Williams wrote together. Along with working in the studio, Leland has been on tour with the Wayne Mills Band playing all over the southeast. Thanks to the WMB, Leland has started to earn his own fan base one night at a time. “I love to go out and put on a show, it doesn’t matter if there are 10 folks or 10,000. They are all spending their hard earned money to come out and have a good time, and that’s exactly what I’m going to give them.” Leland’s dynamic stage presence will keep a crowd rockin’ all night and his soulful voice will melt even the toughest of critics. “With a new record, a roadmap, and a tank of gas, 2010 is going to be a great year”
