Matt Nolan
Matt Nolen's passion for music began at a very early age. While growing up in San Angelo,TX, he was drawn to his Mother’s piano and soon everyone begin to realize his gift and love for writing and singing songs. After high school Matt moved to Nashville where he attended Belmont University and received a degree in music business

Matt's talent and ambitions have since turned into a versatile career as a songwriter, artist, session musician, and producer. Upon graduation from Belmont, Matt moved to New York City where he produced and arranged music for television and film including works for CNBC and The History Channel.

In the Spring of 2005, Matt got the gig many musicians would dream of, playing keys, guitar, mandolin and singing backing vocals for rock legend and Hall of Famer, John Fogerty. This has given Matt the opportunity to share the stage with numerous other musical greats including Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, and John Mellencamp. Over this 5 year span, Matt has traveled the world, playing in the US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South America, Norway and Sweeden. During this time, Matt was signed to a publishing deal in 2006 with Clint Black's company, Blacktop Music.With the blessing of John, Matt left his position in the band to continue to further pursue his career as an artist in 2011. Matt returned to Nashville to record an album with well known producer and A&R executive David Malloy, who has earned 41 #1 hits billboard charts, and is best known for his work with artists, Eddie Rabbit, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.

Currently Matt is signed with Ole Music Publishing, one of the world's largest independent publishing companies. In recent years, Matt's creative and heartfelt song writing has led to major label cuts with artists, Eric Paslay, Bucky Covington, and Trace Adkins as well as dozens of independent artists such as Phil Stallion and Lindi Ortega. Along with writing, Matt has produced numerous albums for artists including Chuck Allen Floyd ("Tonight an Angel Fell" and "Good on the Inside" which landed 3 top 5 singles on the Texas charts), Jerrod Medulla ("Speak Easy" with the top 10 single, "Stay the Night"), Elizabeth Lyons, who's album made the top 50 iTunes charts. Matt is currently producing the second album of his band, The Beagles, which will be the follow up to their debut album "Meet the Beagles"

Matt’s style of music is a fusion of Rock, Country and Gospel. He is a true “a lifer” when it comes to making music. He also embraces a strong faith and sense of purpose in his career. “I plan on taking this as far as it will go. Despite having been around a while, I still have the feeling I’m just getting started. I’m blessed to be able to make music for a living and feel obligated to work hard and treat people around me with respect and kindness. No matter what happens, I will always write songs, play, produce and perform music; It’s just who I am.”
