Born and raised in the tidewater area of Virginia. Jason and Matt spent years in the rock arena, playing shows with some of the biggest names in the industry such as; KISS, Godsmack, Fuel, Saliva and Deep Purple, just to name of few. Playing for sold out crowd's.
Mercy Shine hasn't wasted any time pulling in some very prestigious nominations at the Josie Music Awards.Mercy Shine was awarded Duo of the year at the Josie Music Awards in 2019.Recently Mercy Shine were notified that they have been placed on the Official Ballot for the 2021 63rd Grammy Awards for Record of the Year & Best Country Duo or Group Performance.
