The Rusty Brothers are a four piece band out of Dallas, TX. In almost five years together, they have developed a sound that is as Texas country as Cory Morrow and Jason Boland, as progressive country as Pat Green, and as southern rock as Cross Canadian Ragweed and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The Rusty Brothers have grown quite a fan base over the past couple years throughout Texas and Oklahoma and have extended their listening base as far as Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Opening for acts such as Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Stoney Larue, Macon Greyson, Aaron Watson and various others, they have been asked back to numerous private events, clubs, and fundraisers. The Rusty Brothers have just finished their third studio CD, Produced by Tommy Detamore and Rondal Huckaby (member of George Strait's Ace in the Hole Band) in Floresville, Texas. Members of George Strait's Ace in the Hole band have contributed on both Albums. The band is Steven McWilliams on the lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Daniel McWilliams on backup vocals and lead guitar, Andrew McWilliams on bass, and Nate Wedan on drums. Andrew attends the University of Loyola New Orleans and has racked up many frequent flyer miles flying home every weekend! Throughout late Spring and Summer of 2007, the band has been working on the before mentioned cd project. It is a highly anticipated album that should satisfy many different listeners. A Rusty Brothers show is a family affair and a rockin good time.
