VirLinda Stanton
Gospel Recording Artist and Actress, VirLinda Stanton, will be performing in concert at Liberty Hall on Friday, February 3 at 7pm. This TYLER NATIVE landed one of her ultimate singing and acting goals with the Broadway Musical "The Color Purple" National Tour as: Church Lady-Darlene & Shug Avery understudy. Additionally VirLinda Stanton has also been invited to sing at “THE WHITE HOUSE” Holiday Christmas December 23, 2011.

VirLinda grew up in a rural area of Tyler, TX (Shady Grove Community). Virlinda feels strongly that everyone has a song, but hers has been just a little different. How about a song that has been sung from the country sticks of a small town in Tyler Texas, all the way to Johannesburg South Africa. Unsigned, but not unheard this song bird has blessed the microphone and crowds with the best of the best.

VirLinda began singing at the age of 9 in church; God has taken her on her Life Journey. Of course behind every good voice, there is that Gospel Soul that is undeniable. From Gospel, Broadway, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Disco, Pop, and of course R&B, she's done it all. From the stage of Walt Disney’s Lion King, NFL & NBA Cheerleader, to courtside at the NBA Lakers & NFL games singing the “National Anthem”, her voice has been heard. Gracing the stage to plays & Lead Vocalist w/All Funk Radio Show Band performing at House of Blues, Weddings, Eldorado Casino, Riverwind Casino, Creek Nation Casinos just mention a few.

Please join us for an inspirational evening of songs from her new to be released CD.
