Through life’s journey, sosaveme realized that all they could ever really offer anyone was honesty. This truth became evident in their music, relationships, and individual lives. The music stemming from sosaveme is a reflection of the band members’ passion to share what lies within their hearts- whether it be attractive or scarred and dirty. It is this kind of honesty that unites the music makers with those who listen.
Like most bands, they’ve toured, slept in a van and practically bought that entire van over again part by part. They’ve played shows for two kids, played shows for hundreds of kids, and battled life on the road since 2005. However, through all these highs and lows, it's the people that have come to matter most. Each life has a story – and these guys want to know yours. Rather than simply performing, sosaveme strives to develop relationships and consequently inspire and encourage these new friends.
The band went into the studio this summer with Tyler Orr of First Street Studios (As Cities Burn, The Chariot), to create a passionate expression of the intensity previously captured only in their live show. They most definitely succeeded. With pleading vocals, daring instrumentation and gut wrenching lyrics, this is no fairy tale album. It is a haunting self-reflection that searches the darkness of the human heart. The lyrical content touches on grace, pride, self forgiveness and the death of love. The finished product is entitled The Garden, and releases October 4th, 2011.
