Casey Donahew Golf Classic benefitting Kinder Frogs School for Children with Downs Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 1:00 at The Golf Club @ The Resort

The Golf Club @ The Resort is the center-piece of Casey’s tournament. After an excit-ing 18 holes with a scramble format, you’ll join us on the beautiful patio with pool for dinner, awards, silent auction and an acous-tic concert over looking the golf course and Eagle Mountain Lake.

Originally established in 2002, The Golf Club @ The Resort’s beautiful terrain of rolling green fairways, oak studied woods and lake view vistas is a peaceful sight to the eye. They made a GREAT thing even better in completing a major redesign in 2006 by adding new bunkers, greens and irrigation.

While Casey and his family want to make this tournament known for the challenging golf and “make-it-right-for-the-golfer” atti-tude, this event is so much more. They would like to make this event one of the leading sources for the children that attend Kinder Frogs School.

KinderFrogs School is to provide an excellent, developmentally appropriate education to pre-school children with Down syndrome and other developmental delays. The faculty and staff work collaboratively with families to prepare children for successful inclusion in public and private schools.

Ethan is Casey and Melinda Donahew’s nephew that attends KinderFrogs. He started when he was 18 months old. Ethan could not walk, talk or do anything by himself when he started school. Ethan now walks, talks, eats on his own and brushes his own teeth. He loves school and all of his friends that attend KinderFrogs. His favorite things about school are painting, music and his teacher Mrs. Sara.

KinderFrogs School is Tarrant County’s only early-intervention educational program for chil-dren ages 18 months to 6 years of age with Down syndrome and other developmental delays . The tuition for school is extremely costly for all fami-lies who attend. Please help us to make this possi-ble for these children and families in need.
