We are a locally owned family establishment. The Wooden Indian was opened by Danny Kirkland in 1984. If he were still here with us, he could tell you the many stories of the events that have taken place over the years. We have had everything from Great live bands, large pool tournaments, and even Bear Wrestlings! Unfortunately, times have changed a little bit. Danny has passed his legacy on to his two children, Kacie and Daniel Kirkland. Both have been raised in this establishment and love to see the bar change with the times and economy. They have just finished remodeling the entire building and are always looking for new and exciting entertainment to book for the weekends.
